Did you all get the notice for the Meetup next week? I know the majority of you won’t be able to make it, just because of distance. I’m hoping to do these throughout the year, and hopefully, I’ll be able to travel this year and do them in different places.
We’ve been having incredible dry weather here all winter. Unfortunately the long forecast is that our much needed rain might arrive next Wednesday. I hope that doesn’t put anyone off from coming – it should, instead be looked at as another cause for celebration :)
Where: Ben & Nick’s, 5612 College Ave, Oakland. It’s a pub within a block of the Rockridge BART station, so it’s an easy/safe commute. There’s nothing really special about the place, but the location is great and they have free wi-fi. It’s no-host. Did I say that already?!
When: Next Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 5-7pm (4-6 is actual Happy Hour Time, so if drink prices matter, get there by 5pm!)
This is a general invitation for people who aren’t members, but might want to be. Bring a friend if you’d like. This is really informal. No agenda.
