Writer’s Life
July 3rd, 2008
I’m having writer’s block. There is one thing that is causing this and I know exactly what it is … time. I have none. I don’t have enough time to settle down and let the thoughts flow. I’m now on my third try of a blog post this morning. The first one was on art and ego and boxes. The second one was about my comment over on Everlast’s blog post about Paris and that he deleted it. And now, I’m just complaining that I don’t have cohesive enough thoughts about anything to write.
I need a vacation …

It’s all good Everlast :) All I had said was something like I was glad you got to spend even a moment out in Paris because it is such a great city.
What I didn’t say was that Paris is one of my favorite cities on the planet and if someone only had a moment to experience the city, even a short taxi ride underneath the Eiffel Tower at night with all of its lights lit, no matter how touristy anyone might think it is, is an experience not to be missed. It needs to be done at least once. It’s even better just before sunrise, after a night out listening to some great music in a club somewhere or a concert at Bercy. Kind of romantic, kind of nostalgic, in some strange way …
