Hello World!
Hello World is the standard WordPress opening for that first blog entry, one that is meant to be edited or deleted and started over. But I thought it might be a nice way to open a blog about art and travel.
Hello World!
Here I am. This is the second incarnation of this blog. Somehow the first one went off track so I’ve decided to start over with a clean slate. Not sure how I like these colors, but I wanted something other than grey. I use grey way too much when I build web sites. Photographs look nice on grey. It’s neutral. It’s not flashy.
So for this blog I tried to come up with some background colors that have to do with the world. How many shades of blue are there in the world? The sky, the ocean, a stream, a painting, a palette of oil colors, ultramarine, pthalo, cobalt, cerulean, azure, add some white … well, there are many places in the world where blue is a primary color.
And I think photographs might look nice on it.
