We're down to the last few days of our Indiegogo Support and Membership Drive!

Arts Beat Submission

Arts Beat / Art News Submissions are accepted from our community members and supporters. If you’ve got an exhibition or cultural event coming up, please use the Arts Beat Submission form.

We love exchanging support with our members in the arts!

But for us to afford to do that, there needs to be an exchange of energy.

To get your press releases published on site, Become a Member* at either the monthly or annual level! Not only will your exhibition and cultural event press releases be published consistently (as you submit them to us in the correct format detailed below), you’ll have access to use the “The Stream” and our groups for interacting with other artists, writers, photographers, makers, gallerists, and travelers of the site, much like you do on facebook and twitter. Or, you could start a blog here and publish your gallery exhibition announcements and cultural news here on the site.

Yes, you can have your Social Media Expert manage your account here. If that’s the case, the account will be under the name of the gallery or institution.

*If you are a membership driven institution and would like to participate on artist-at-large, I would consider a membership exchange. Please contact me for details or with your ideas.

If you are not a site member:
We can also support each other on a per release basis with a donation of as little as $1 by using the donation button at the bottom of the page.

An important note about sending us press releases:
We do not publish postcard style invitations.

Press releases from or about artist-at-large community members get top priority in the posting schedule.

Send in press releases as early as possible so they can be put into the queue. Last minute press releases will likely not get published.

What we do publish are exhibition and event press releases that give information about the artist and their work, or the event and the story or history behind it. Something that will make interesting reading or viewing even after the exhibition or event is long past.

We cover the topics of art exhibitions, musical events, theater performances, small independent events and exhibitions, street fairs, food fairs, wine events … anything of a cultural nature.

We do accept announcements in languages other than English. We want the site to have a multi-lingual following. Of course if you have both the original and the English translation, please submit both!

Please look through the Arts Beat category for samples of what we do publish.

We do not accept .PDF or .DOC files. There is not enough time in a day to cut them up and sort them out. Information must be sent in text format with an attached .jpg image for easy copy and paste.

Note: If your submission doesn’t have an image, it won’t be published. We do not chase down images. All materials need to be submitted together at the same time.
